FAQS

What is HealthWave?

HealthWave is based on a form of pulse-wave therapy that has been around for many years. Historically, pulse-wave therapy has been therapeutically used successfully in the treatment of kidney stones, coronary artery disease, and other health issues. Today, that success is being adapted by forward-thinking health care professionals to help men and women overcome some of their sexual performance challenges, as well as other more general health troubles or concerns.

What a typical HealthWave Visit Looks (and Feels) Like?

Typically, a complete HealthWave treatment takes about 30-minutes, with the pulse treatment itself lasting 10 to 15 minutes. Upon arrival at the office, a numbing cream if needed you will apply to your penis or vaginal area in a private room. As you numb (while still fully dressed), you will be asked to do several light exercises on a standup vibrating/exercise machine. These exercises are not difficult and are designed to get your blood flowing through out the body. After about 10 minutes, you will enter the treatment room and disrobe from the waist down. Your health care professional will then administer your pulse treatment. Again, the treatment will take no longer than 15 minutes. When the treatment is completed, you will clean yourself and dress. It’s that simple.

Is a HealthWave Treatment Painful?

Does it really help ED?

No. Remember you are lightly numb in the treatment area. While you will still likely feel some pressure, slight pin-pricks or nothing at all and the treatment itself is usually not painful and should not be a reason for anxiety or discomfort. Female patients will be asked to use a pair of stirrups positioned comfortably above the treatment table so the administering professional will have optimal access to the treatment area.
